In partnership with Harlow Council, Swan Housing Association welcomed tenants to 12 new homes at The Briars.

Swan Assistant Director (Partnerships), Trevor Burns said: "We are particularly proud of this development as it has been designed in consultation with CABRA, the local resident’s association. We are absolutely delighted that the Briars has been awarded an EcoHomes Excellent rating which is the highest possible accolade for an environmentally friendly housing development".

Harlow Councillor of Housing, Mark Wilkinson said: "Through partnership working we have achieved a successful outcome on a site that was difficult to develop, due to the proximity of neighbouring homes and access for the construction traffic. This project shows how good quality, new affordable housing can contribute to the aim of creating sustainable communities in the future."
